Harry's Story.

Harry Bowyer was born in Knutsford in 1900, one of four children born to William (a builder) and Annie Bowyer of 131, Middlewich Road, Northwich.

He joined the 1/10^th Manchester Regiment but was transferred to 1st/4th Battalion of the East Yorkshire Regiment, becoming Private no. 30805 on entering France on the 5^th April 1918.
Harry died from Dysentery.
