Harry's Story.

Private Harry Bostock.

Mrs. Bostock, 27 Cowfields, Nantwich, has received official intimation that her husband private Harry Bostock, Kings Shropshire Light Infantry, has been missing since September 16th. In a letter from a comrade, received by private Bostock's mother last week, it was stated that the regiment had been “over the top,” but on the roll being called Harry did not answer, and he was subsequently posted as missing. Private Bostock, who is 39 years of age, joined the army in April this year, and had been at the front a month. For many years he was presser in the employ of Messrs. Watts, clothiers, Crewe, but latterly has been in the employ of Messrs. Solomon of Nantwich he was married in February this year.
