BIRKENHEAD MAN KILLED.

We have received news that Private J. Boote, of 2, Mount Grove, Birkenhead, has been killed in action. He joined the South Lancs. On June 3rd 1916, and went to France in September following, and was killed on June 14th, 1917. Prior to joining the Army he was employed by Mr. Jones, undertaker. Much sympathy will be extended to Mrs. Boote and family in the loss they have sustained.
