BIRKENHEAD MAN KILLED.

We have received news that Private J. Boote, of 2, Mount Grove, Birkenhead, has been killed in action. He joined the South Lancs. On June 3^rd 1916, and went to France in September following, and was killed on June 14^th, 1917. Prior to joining the Army he was employed by Mr. Jones, undertaker. Much sympathy will be extended to Mrs. Boote and family in the loss they have sustained.
