John's Story.
Private John Beech, from Sandbach, Cheshire, died on 25th August 1916 in France. He was about 29 years old. He was the son of James and Jane Beech, and brother to Charles and Frank.He had lived at Church Street (1901), later Hawk Street (1911) in Sandbach.
The Chester Chronicle, 9th September 1916 reported that he had been wounded.
