Alfred's Story.

Born Middlewich, enlisted Crewe. Son of Florence Cartwright of 1, Brown Street, Crewe. Worked in the Fitting Shop, Crewe Steel Works. Went to France (Boulogne) on September 28, 1915. Killed when a shell fell into the trench he was occupying.
