William Bowyer's Story.

BECKWITH ST. SOLDIER FALLS.

Official news has been received by Mr. and Mrs. Bowyer Lowndes, of 364 Beckwith Street, stating that one of their sons, Pte. William Bowyer Lowndes, aged 29, of the Liverpool Scottish, had been killed in France. He joined in October, 1915, and had been out previously and wounded. His officer has written a letter conveying the sincere sympathy of the officers, N.C.O.’s and men of his Company. He was for a number of years in the choir of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Claughton, also an old member of the Brassey Street Sunday School. He was very well known in the North End.
