Albert's Story.

Runcorn Guardian, Friday July 2, 1915.

Private A. Miller.
Territorial Dies of Wounds.

The parents of Private A. Miller of 24, Arthur Street, Runcorn, have received official notification that he succumbed to wounds on June 17th. He was a member of the Runcorn Territorials and went to France in March last. A letter received by his parents from one of his chums’ states that he was shot through the head by a sniper on June 16th. He was brought in at considerable personal risk by two of his mates, but the wound was a very serious one and he died on the following day.
The young fellow would have attained his majority in December next. He was well known, having lived in Runcorn all his life. Previous to the war he was employed at the Weston Point Salt Works.
