Dies in Canada.
The many friends of 2nd Air Mechanic Gordon Stewart will regret to hear that he died at the O.C. Military Base Hospital, Toronto, Canada, on Sept. 15th, after an operation. He was the fourth son of the late Mr. James Stewart and Mrs. Stewart, of 2, Dundonald Street, Birkenhead. Joining the R.F.C. about six months ago from New York, eventually he went to Toronto, where he was engaged building aeroplanes. He had lived in the North End of Birkenhead all his earlier life, and was very well known and liked. He resided with his widowed mother at the address stated.
