William Charles's Story.
Born Crewe, enlisted Liverpool. Son of Percy William and Elizabeth Judd of 39, Ruskin Road, Crewe. Educated at Bedford Street School and the Crewe Academy. Was a grocer by trade, working for Mr Holland of Nantwich Road. Went to France (Boulogne) on November 7, 1915.
