FELL ON THE ITALIAN FRONT.

The death has been officially recorded of Pte. George Henry Lee, of the King’s Shropshire Light Infantry. In civil life he made his home with his parents at 23, Lord Street. He joined the Army in April, 1917, and after a brief spell of training was drafted to France, where he was transferred to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, and sent with that regiment to the Italian front, where he received the fatal wound. Previous to joining the Army, Pte. Lee, who was 23 years of age, was employed at Messrs. Cammell Laird’s shipbuilding yard.
