Leslie's Story.
Leslie was with the 1st King's Dragoon Guards ( 1KDG) stationed in North Africa. In late November 1941 the unit took part in Operation Crusader which had the objective of relieving the allied garrison in Tobruk who had been under siege since April of that year. Leslie was killed during this operation.
