Frank's Story.
Frank Baldwin was born on 15th July 1864 in Nantwich. He was the son of David and Ellen Baldwin. Frank married Martha Ann Price in 1888 at Christchurch, Crewe. Frank was listed as an absent voter in 1918 living at 1 Moss Stret, Crewe, where he had been living since 1891 and where he returned to, after the war. In 1921 he was listed as widowed and living with his son, daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren. He was an Engine Fitter in the Railway Works. His wife, Martha had died in 1911. In 1939, Frank was still living with his daughter and son in law, but by now living at 20 Davenham Crescent, Crewe. Frank died in 1945.Researched by Edward McLean
