Frank Capel's Story.

Frank was listed as son of Francis William Antill and Eliza Alice nee Barnett. The parents married in Salford in 1896. In 1901 the family lived at 10 Alton Street, Crewe. By 1911 they had moved to 8 Derrington Avenue, Crewe, where Frank Capel Antill was listed as being an apprentice railway clerk (traffic). Frank married Nellie Faulkner in 1919 at St. Michael's Church, Crewe. They had two children, a son and a daughter. In 1921, he and his wife Nellie are recorded as living at 22 Orchard Street, Crewe and Frank was a Postal Sorter, with the G.P.O. Frank was on several electoral registers from 1921 to 1926 at 40 Cemetery Road, Crewe with Nellie's parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Faulkner. Nellie was still living with her mother in 1939 at the same house but by now the street had been renamed as Broad Street. Frank died on 12th Jan 1935 in Crewe Memorial Hospital. Nellie died in 1988 in Congleton.
