Cecil Henry's Story.

Cecil was the son of Wilfred and Sarah Baldwin husband of Marie Mariette Baldwin, of Metabetchouan, Quebec, Canada. After training as a Wireless Operator Air Gunner in Canada he travelled to UK in July 1944 and was assigned to 6 ( C) OTU at RAF Silloth in November 1944.


On 6th December 1944 Cecil  was killed when the Wellington bomber serial HF199 that he was flying in crashed on landing at Silloth after completing a training mission. All 7 crew were killed.
