Albert Edward's Story.

Albert was born in 1894 in Manchester and was the son of Jesse and Alice Hopley of The Quay, Frodsham Bridge. In 1911 his occupation is that of a farm labourer. In 1916 he married Annie Percival and had enlisted in Runcorn, having worked at the Castner Kellner works. He joined the Cheshire Regiment and died at home on the 14th July 1916. Buried in Frodsham.
After his death Annie married William Taylor and , unusually, all three of them are named on the headstones in the graveyard at St Laurence
