Ernest's Story.
PRIVATE E. BEARDMORE.
Mr. and Mrs. Beardmore, 51, Forge Fields, Wheelock, have received information that their son, Private Ernest Beardmore, of the Cheshire Regiment, was killed in action on December 17th.
Beardmore worked for Mr. Arthur Holland as a farm labourer prior to joining the Army in September, 1915. He was 22 years of age, a native of Wheelock, and attended the Church School, Wheelock.
