Herbert Wickstead's Story.
Born Park Lane, London on November 4,
1881. Son of Edmund Peel (formerly Ethelston) and Henrietta
Margaret Williams of Overton, Flintshire and husband of
Muriel Ethelston (nee Kennedy) of Wickstead Hall,
Whitchurch. He was a keen cricketer and captained the
Shropshire Gentlemen’s team. Went to France on
January 4, 1915.
