Amos's Story.
Lived with his grandmother, Frances, at 195, Market Street, Crewe. Formerly a pupil at
Beech Street School and assistant in the Grocery Department, Crewe Co-op.
Went to France on December 18, 1914. Died from shrapnel wounds to
the head and arm (sustained on January 7) in No.8 Stationary Hospital,
Bailleul, France.
