Edward's Story.

Born and enlisted Crewe. Son of Edward Riley of 23, Chesterfield Street, Crewe,
Resided with his wife at 17, Naylor Street, Crewe. Attended Hightown LNWR Boys
School and prior to enlisting was employed in the Crewe South Steam Sheds.
Went to Belgium (Zeebrugge) on October 6. His brother Arthur would die of
wounds in July 1916.
