Enlisted Macclesfield. Son of William and Mary Ann Poole of 1, Johnston’s Buildings, Beam Street, Nantwich. In 1911 was working as a domestic groom. Enlisted October 1914. Landed at “C” Beach, Suvla Bay on August 8/9, 1915.
