Two Brothers Missing.
Mr. and Mrs. Hird of 32 Fountain Street, have received an official intimation that their two sons, Private John T. and Private Stanley Hird both of the 4th Battalion Cheshire Regiment (who were with the battalion at the Dardanelles), are missing. They will be very grateful if any member of the battalion can give them any information regarding them. Private Stanley Hird who is 22 years of age, served his apprenticeship with Messer’s, Hope and Lee, and Private John Hird who is 21, was in Messer’s G.J.S. Broomhall’s office in Liverpool.
