George Ernest's Story.


Air-Mechanic George Ernest Booth, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Booth,. of 18 Brackley street, Runcorn.
He was 26 years old when he died after a short illness from influenza and bronchial pneumonia at Hasler Hospital, Gosport UK. 
George was educated at Runcorn Parish Church school and was connected with the Parish Church
Before joining up he was in the employment of Messrs. Henry Pooley and Sons, of Widnes, as a machine fitter. His brother. Gunner S. Booth, also served with the R.G.A.
In a letter to the deceased's mother. Major England, his officer, said
"It may be a comfort to you to know that while your son was under my command he always carried out his I duties in a conscientious manner."
