CORPORATION EMPLOYEE

Dies of Wounds.

Mrs. T. Youde, of 3, Richmond Terrace, Birkenhead, has received news of the death from wounds of her husband, Pte. Thomas Youde, Cheshire Regt. He went to France in March last, and previous to enlisting was in the employ of the Birkenhead Corporation as a carter. A letter has been received by Mrs. Youde from Mr. Brownridge, Engineer and Surveyor to the Corporation, who says that the late soldier was held in high esteem by his fellow employees and the committee alike, and his name would be inscribed on the roll of honour of Corporation employees. Mrs. Youde is left with one child.
