West Kirby Officer Killed

Flight Sub-Lieut. C. R. C. Wallworth R.N., killed in action on the 18th inst., was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallworth, of Mostyn Avenue, West Kirby. Educated at Braeside School, West Kirby and afterwards at St. Bees School, Cumberland, he was successful in gaining an exhibition at Exeter College, Oxford, intending to study for Holy Orders. He joined the Royal Naval Air Service in August, 1917, and went on active service in January last. He was in his 20th year.
