ANOTHER TRANMERE YOUTH KILLED.

Private T. Tucker.

News has been received of the death of yet another member of the heroic “Fourths”. It is Private Timothy Tucker, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Tucker, of 10, Hatherly Street, Tranmere. Prior to the official War Office intimation of his death, Private Tucker’s parents heard through letters received by neighbours from their sons that he was wounded, but since then heard nothing until the intimation which was received on Sunday morning saying that he died on August 13th. Private Tucker left his work – he was employed by Messrs. Cammell Laird and Co., as an apprentice driller – about a month after the war broke out. His death will be regretted by his former fellow workers and his friends, and the sympathy of all goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Tucker in their sad loss.
