DRIVER G. W. TOMKINSON

Mr. George Tomkinson, 26, Arnold Street, Nantwich, has been informed that his eldest son, Driver George William Tomkinson, Machin Gun Corps. Died of wounds on September 28th. Driver Tomkinson, who leave a wife and four children was 30 years of age and joined the Colours soon after the outbreak of war. He was educated at the Nantwich Catholic Schools, and at the time of enlistment was employed at Messrs. Armstrong Whitworths of Manchester. He has a brother serving at the front.
