Walter's Story.

Born and enlisted Crewe. Son of Henry and Emily Tench of 37, Lawton Street, Crewe. Educated at Mill Street School. Formerly employed in the Crewe South Steam Sheds and enlisted on the outbreak of war. Died in the 37th Casualty Clearing Station, Avesnes.
