FUSILIER KILLED IN ACTION

After a Few Weeks in France

Word has been received by Mrs. Summerfield, 75, Arthur Street, Birkenhead, that her husband, Private Bernard Summerfield, was killed in action on April 16th last. He enlisted in the Royal Fusiliers, and went out to France in March. Deceased worked, before joining the Army, with Messrs. W. Singleton and Sons as a confectioner. His mother and father live at 371, Brook Street. He leaves a little son.
