Jack's Story.
Born and enlisted Crewe. Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Shaw of 377, West Street, Crewe. Educated at Hightown LNWR Boys and West Street Mixed Schools. An apprentice in the Steel Foundry, Crewe Works until enlisting in February 1916. Killed by shrapnel after being at the Front for only three weeks.
