Killed.
Private Robert Sandlands.
Official information has been received by Mrs. Sandlands, Bower’s Road, Nantwich, that her son, Private Robert Sandlands K.O.R.L. Regiment, was killed in action on June 8th. Private Sandlands who joined the Army at 18 years of age, spent his 19th birthday in the trenches. He had been two months at the front. Before the war he was a baker, employed by Mrs. Hassalls, of Hospital Street, Nantwich.
