Ernest's Story.

PRIVATE ERNEST LYON.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyon, Keepers Cottage, Dorfold, have been officially informed that their eldest son, Private Ernest Lyon, R.W.F., has been killed in action. Private Lyon, who was 21 years of age, was before enlistment employed as a butcher, having served his apprenticeship with Mr. Parker, of Welsh Row, Nantwich.
