John's Story.
Born and enlisted Crewe. Son of John and Mary Nevitt and husband of Lucy Nevitt of 15, Orchard Street, Willaston (also of “The Firs” Coppice Road, Willaston). Formerly employed at Crewe Goods Sheds as a caller-off and enlisted on August 24, 1914. Went to Egypt in June 1915.
