Alfred's Story.
Born and enlisted Manchester. Son of Ellen Hulse of 23, Oak Street, Crewe. Resided at 13, Snow Hill, Nantwich and was a presser at Messrs. Purcell & Blackburn after previously working at the Marmion Works, Camm Street, Crewe. Went to France (Boulogne) on September 25, 1915. His service number is 9675 on Medal Index Card.
