Fred's Story.
Fred was born in Hightown, Manchester in 1894, only son of George (Police Officer) & Hannah Griffiths. the family later moved to Brook Lane Burford, Nantwich and then to Cherry Lane, Lymm and Coronation Villas New Road, Lymm.In civilian life he was employed as a diary man and was married to Beatrice Mercy Lloyd and in 1910 they had a son George Frederick Lloyd Griffiths.
He was killed in action on 3rd July 1916 aded 22.
