Harold George's Story.
Harold George Greswell was born in Snetterton, Norfolk in 1889, the son of Walter (a clergyman) and Catherine Greswell of The Vicarage, Marthall. He joined the army, in the Royal Engineers and went to India.
On the outbreak of was his regiment returned and they fought with the B.E.F. in France. He was promoted to Captain and transferred to the 154th Field Company.
George died of wounds on the 18 August 1916.
He is the brother of Eric Walter Greswell.
