George Clifford's Story.
Private G. C. Fletcher.
Mr. A. Fletcher, of Hightown, Crewe, has received information that his son, Private G. C. Fletcher, of the Welsh Regiment, has died of wounds in a base hospital. His brother Rev. A. E. Fletcher, who is engaged with the Y.M.C.A. huts attended the funeral. Private Fletcher enlisted twelve months ago; He was formerly engaged in agricultural work at Sydney. He was wounded some time ago.
