Thomas Macpherson's Story.

Born Crewe, enlisted Liverpool. Son of John and Louisa Elizabeth Fennah of 188, Ruskin Road, Crewe. Attended Bedford Street School. A former employee at ‘The Crewe Chronicle’ and assistant stationer in the LNWR General Offices, Crewe. A champion athlete with the Crewe Harriers, who had won the ten-mile AAA race in April 1914 at Stamford Bridge. Enlisted November 1914 and went to France on April 23, 1915.
