Robert George's Story.

Seacombe Soldier Killed.

Information has been received that Private [Robert] George Davidson, was killed on April 16th France. He enlisted in the Denbighshire Hussars (Yeomanry)at the beginning of the war, and seven months ago was transferred to the Cheshire Regiment for service in France. He had been recently recommended by his commanding officer for a commission. He was killed instantaneously by a shell, along with a comrade. He was formerly a member of the Liscard Albion and Wallasey Y.M.C.A. football teams, and resided at 10, Mulberry Grove,
Seacombe.
