North-End Victim of the War.
We are enabled to give a portrait of Private R. Davidson, of the 4th Cheshires, who, as we announced last Wednesday, has been killed in action. Private Davidson before the war resided at 9, Asquith Avenue. He joined the Battalion in October last, and prior to doing so was in the employ of the Allan Line Steamship Co. as a steward. He was one of four brothers serving their King and country.
