Arthur's Story.
Corporal Arthur Cooper (439028), Canadian Engineers, aged 30, only son of Mrs. Arrowsmith, Grove Street, Wilmslow, was killed on October 8. He went out to Canada ten years ago, and at the outbreak of war enlisted in a Canadian infantry battalion. On landing in England in 1915 he was transferred to the Canadian Engineers. Before going abroad he was attached to the Hazel Grove volunteers.
