Frederick's Story.

Frederick was born in 1881, third son of John & Hannah Daniels of Moston Street, Lymm.  In civilian life he was employed for many years at Mr Long's tannery in Grappenhall, and later at Messrs Reynolds in Latchford.

He married Alice Ann Statham of Moston Street, Lymm and they had 4 children, Frank, Ernest, Arthur and Susan Frances.

He enlisted at Warrington on 7th December 1914 and was posted to France on 1st May 1915.  He was one of many Lymm men who joined the Army in response to the call after war broke out.

He was killed by a bullet to the head in Ypres on 10th July 1915 aged 33 and died instantly.
