Arthur Hamilton's Story.

Arthur was born in Lymm in 1898, son of John & Mary Bradburn of Booths Lane, Lymm.  He was educated at Lymm Parish School and attended Lymm Parish Church  He was then employed by the Partington Steel and Iron Works and was interested in football and bowls.

He died at a Canadian casualty station on 7th September 1918 from wounds received in the left shoulder and chest 3 days before

Mr & Mrs Bradburn had 2 other sons in the Army, one in the Irish Guards and one in the Manchester Regiment.
