Birkenhead Sailors.

LOST WITH CLAN MCNAUGHTON.

Mr. Wm. Pettitt, of 12 Payson Street, Birkenhead, was also a member of the crew of the Clan McNaughton, and his wife has now received the Admiralty intimation that he had been lost. Mr. Pettitt was also a member of the Cheshire Regiment, serving in the 2nd Battalion, and fought in the South African War, receiving the King’s medal in recognition of his services. He leaves a wife and four small children, and much sympathy will be extended to her in her sad loss.
