Charles's Story.

Charles was born in 1898, son of Annie Percival of Booths Hill, Lymm.  He was educated at Lymm Village School and attended the Church of England Sunday School in Lymm.  In civilian life he had served his time with Mr J H Bolt, Builder.
He enlisted on 8th February 1916 at Chatham and after completing his training he was posted to the front on 14th December 1916.
He was killed in action on 20th September 1917 aged 19.
