DROWNED IN PALESTINE.

Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Kay, of 225, Conway Street, Birkenhead, have received official intimation that their son, Pte. W. H. Kay, of the 4th Cheshire Regiment, who had been serving under General Murray in Palestine had been accidentally drowned on April 13th. Sympathy will be universal towards the bereaved in this sad occurrence. Pte. Kay joined the “Cheshires” in October, 1915, and had been in Egypt since October of last year.
