George's Story.

Son of George and Annie Lowe of 42, Martin Street, Crewe. Former pupil of the
Borough Senior School and previously worked in the Fitting Shop, Crewe Works
and the Cammell Laird’s ship building yard at Birkenhead. Served with the Naval
Brigade during the defence of Antwerp. The Viknor was a unit of the 10th
